The Department of Decisions, Operations and Technology comprises three research areas: Operations Management, Management Information Systems, and Business Economics. The Department now invites applications for the post of Professional Consultant commencing Fall 2024. 

Applicants should (i) have a PhD degree in Operations Management/Operations Research/Decision Sciences, or other related disciplines (by the time reporting for duty); (ii) possess teaching experience in subjects related to business analytics, artificial intelligence, digital transformation and leadership; (iii) demonstrate proven industry experience in the business sector; and (iv) exhibit a strong commitment to teaching and service. The appointee will be responsible for teaching postgraduate courses offered by the Department and will also assume key administrative duties for soliciting and conducting executive training programmes offered by the Asia-Pacific Institute of Business in Hong Kong and the Mainland. 

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years commencing Fall 2024,  renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
