Job Description

Reports to : Manager People Development & Engagement
Role Introduction
Reporting to the Manager People Development & Engagement, the role of the Training & Development Specialist is to design, develop, and deliver effective training programs for the business. The Training Specialist will be responsible for developing engaging online and offline training materials, such as e-learning courses, videos, presentations, manuals etc. that effectively communicate key concepts and skills to learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop engaging training materials, both online and offline, such as e-learning courses, videos, presentations, and manuals, that effectively communicate key concepts and skills to learners.
- Create and design interactive e-learning content such as instructional graphics, user interfaces, visual representations, storyboards etc. of the finished course to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design to develop effective and engaging training programs.
- Execute and deliver engaging training sessions to target participants, both in-person and virtually.
- Provide support to employees who require further training and development.
- Provide logistic support on staff engagement and development initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure training needs are met.
- Ensure training programs align with company goals and objectives.
- Manage and maintain the company's learning management system (LMS).
- Maintain the training library/record/file management
- Coordinate training logistics and related administration works
- Act as a change agent to drive continuous improvement throughout.
- Support other teams with projects as directed.
Requirements
- Degree holder with a major in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, and other related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience with hands-on experience in training content development and delivery.
- Excellent business acumen, being able to connect theory to practice.
- Result-oriented mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, innovative and agile.
- Proficient in MS applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Digital savvy, having worked with Learning Management Systems/LMS as regional/local Administrator.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
