Responsibilities:

•  Financial Reporting
  1. Responsible for monthly IFRS17 reporting and present financial analysis to management. Closing activities including but not limited to manage closing timeline, review month end closing journals and reconciliation, co-work with Actuarial department on financial result review, as well as coordinate closing meeting.
  2. Prepare financial statements and liaise with external and internal auditors.
  3. Coordinate and review budget of fellow companies.
  4. Support submission to Group financial reporting 
   
•  Assist on regulatory submission including IA, BMA, HKFI, etc.
• Support review of accounting policies and papers, and suggest impacts on accounting standards updates.
•  Assist on finance systems implementation projects with IT and various departments.
• Coach juniors on reporting and system matter.
•  Handle any Ad hoc request from supervisor.

Requirements:

• 8+ Years Big 4 Audit or Insurance accounting & Finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or above with major in Finance or Accounting; HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Knowledge and understanding on HKFRS 17 is an absolute advantage.
• MS-Project, MS Excel, and general MS-Office skills essential.
• Strong system knowledge especially for Insurance related systems(i.e. Policy Admin. System), and knowledge in end-to-end process workflow.
• Willing to learn and accept challenges.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Excellent verbal and written skills with an ability to create high quality written products that are comprehensive, accurate and tailored to the audience.

• Initiative, hardworking, independent and good team player.
