Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Work under direct supervision of Chief Steward to ensure a smooth Stewarding operation, adequate stock, services to maintain high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the restaurants and bar of the hotel.
- Assist Chief Steward to direct day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, monitor and enhance team performance by offering coaching and regular feedback for colleagues.
- Provide training to team members in compliance with the standards of hygiene, cleanliness and occupational health and safety, service behaviors, and governmental regulations.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of three years’ relevant experience in similar position in sizable hotels or restaurants.
- Possess sound knowledge of Food Safety Management System or HACCP.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in stewarding operations, cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Good communication and people management skills with team work.
- Good command of written and spoken Cantonese and English.
