Data Analyst (MNC, Financial Services, 35k-45k)

Your new company

Our client is a Listed Financial Services Company with a strong digitalisation roadmap. To cope with ongoing digitalisation growth and data-driven strategy, they are currently looking for a Data Analyst in their local office.

The role would collaborate with a strong data team and collectively driving data analytics across various digital platforms, making it an ideal role for candidates looking to further their data analytics career on a sizeable platform.

Your new role

  • Focus on the development of data analytics and identifying growth opportunity in data to help businesses with key initiatives
  • Work with the digital information from digital platforms such as websites/apps, or digital platform partnerships to track customer journeys and identify opportunities
  • Apply programs such as SQL, Power BI, Adobe Analytics in analysing and summarising data insights to explain variances and trends for business solutions
  • Use data analytics to help marketing, customer and sales departments to improve sales effectiveness in different touchpoints

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in a numerate discipline e.g. Actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science with a strong computer programming component
  • Exposure to all stages of the data analytics project lifecycle (identification, extraction, loading, transforming/shaping, analysing, developing and tracking)
  • Proven hands-on experience in the use of at least one advanced data analysis platform (e.g. SQL) or other programming
  • Experience in big data environment and tools such as Hive, Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to interact and build strong relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds
