We are growing and we’re looking for talents to come onboard as a Responsible Officer (RO) based in Hong Kong.

As RO, you will report directly to the Group General Manager on all strategic and tactical matters to assure full regulated compliance with IA rules and guidelines. This position requires a high level of intellectual rigor and integrity of the highest, and a passion for structure and details. Positive interest in InsurTech and a can-do attitude is a must.

This role also offers part-time opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Act as Responsible Officer to supervise IA GI & LT regulated activities
• Liaise with IA and other regulatory bodies for regulated activities related matters
• Provide input to the business and operations to ensure full regulated compliance
• Formulate, review, and update the operation procedures to ensure full regulatory compliance
• Evaluate and analyze potential investment opportunities through companies and market research
• Contribute to the on-going enhancement of insurance product platform
• Provide advice and support to management, sales and marketing on strategic activities and daily operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or marketing qualifications preferred
• Act as Responsible Officer to supervise IA GI & LT for both agency and brokers’ licenses
• Liaise with IA and other regulatory bodies
• Minimum 2-year experience as RO/5-years TR
• At least 7 years of insurance industry experience with strong General Insurance/ Life product knowledge
• An existing responsible officer would be ideal, with previous experience in applying and maintaining an Insurance Broker License and setting up and growing an insurance broker business platform is highly preferable
• Solid General and Life insurance product knowledge
• Strong sense of compliance and sound knowledge of insurance-related laws, rules, and regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
