Responsibilities:

•  Manage the Credit Team (Focus in Corporate/Commercial) and oversee its operations.
• Review and approve credit applications within delegated lending authority, ensuring a balanced approach between returns and risk exposure.
• Lead a team of credit approvers to maintain high credit quality standards in the portfolio, utilizing various credit assessment tools.
  Develop, implement, review, and monitor credit programs, providing training and coaching to enhance team members' competencies.
• Manage and develop management reports for post-approval control and monitoring of the loan portfolio, including approval conditions and financial/non-financial covenants.
• Review and enhance the Early Alert Reporting Framework to effectively control and monitor the customer portfolio, including WatchList and EAR customers.
• Review and update credit policies and procedures to address deficiencies identified during credit reviews and strengthen the credit process.
• Participate in ad hoc projects related to specific customers or product portfolios, requiring investigative or troubleshooting skills.
   

Requirements:

• Hold a university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, preferably with additional professional qualifications.
• Have a minimum of 13 years of experience in approval/credit assessment, specifically in corporate lending. Consumer lending experience is a plus.
• Marketing experience is advantageous.
• Possess credit evaluation expertise involving complex credits and structuring.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Putonghua (Mandarin Chinese).
• A strong team player capable of efficient management in a dynamic environment.
