What You'll Be Doing:

This role is responsible for building and enhancing FrieslandCampina Corporate Branding and leadership of dairy nutrition through corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, lobbying, brand public relations, media relations and PR effectiveness.

The candidate shall oversee all corporate, brand and campaign message alignment, and be a commercial enabler to support commercial success by adapting FrieslandCampina’s purposes of Nourishing by Nature and Nourishing a Better Planet in all initiatives and commitments.

Corporate communications

  • Develop Corporate Branding and be the key project leader
  • Develop corporate branding materials for internal and external promotions and maintain balanced establishments of Corporate image, executive presence, CSR in order to support FCHK and brand leadership 
  • Plan and lead CSR and Public Relations programs, including but not limited to stakeholder management, program planning and execution, data management and onsite support
  • Plan and lead executive and business interview for reputation building; conduct executive briefing and media management. 
  • Identify and drive appropriate award nominations. 

 Brand PR 

  • Support Brand PR. Provide advice on brand communications strategies, media angle and professional drafting
  • Support effective KOL / influencer engagement. Advice on brand KOL engagement strategy and approaches, and corresponding materials development 
  • Support on PR agency selection and management, guide marketing on agency briefing, deliverables and result evaluation 

Public Affairs

  • Engage government officials on policy and regulatory development.
  • Understand regulatory authorities / government departments agenda, map (potential) impact to FCHK business / business plans and provide trend updates to FCHK / FC BGs
  • Support Head of Corporate Affairs to establish company stance regarding to regulation development

Issue and crisis management

  • Review advertising and packaging material to uphold quality standard
  • Build and enhance FC HK knowledge and readiness in issue management 
  • Gate keep the compliance of FC internal guidelines
  • Support issues and crisis communication 
  • Conduct news monitoring, news intelligence update
  • Negotiation with local authorities when necessary 
  • Support internal audits from time to time

What We Are Looking For

  • 8 years of experience with track record in Public Relations and Corporate Communications. Experienced in dairy, food or consumer healthcare (supplement) related industry is an advantage. 
  • Solid and up-to-date media network across all platforms and sections related to business, local news, and feature (CSR, food and nutrition, parenting)
  • Solid event management experience, from mass public event preferable 
  • Knowledge and experience in quality assurance, food lab test and production quality control standards are an advantage. 
  • Track record in digital PR preferable 
  • Experience in MNC and principal companies is highly preferable with Public Relations agency and media is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge in Code of Ethics for Communications professionals 
  • Strong inter-personal and communications skills; being able to maintain effective professional relationships across and outside the organization
  • Good analytical skill and good knowledge for research tools and methods
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is a must; video editing and design software is a plus
  • Strong leadership and project management skill and good team player
  • Strong oral, public speaking and written communication skills. 
  • Proficient writing and presentation skills, in English and Chinese. Fluent Mandarin is a plus
