Job Description

The University now invites application for the following position:

Communications Officer – Communications and Public Affairs Office (Ref: EO (CPAO) 2024-05-10)

Responsibilities: 

  • implement communication and marketing strategies across online and social media platforms;
  • contribute to brand building and student recruitment promotion efforts for local and Mainland China markets;
  • create and write compelling stories for marketing and brand building purposes, such as social media posts, advertorial, video storyboard, e-DM, etc;
  • develop print and digital marketing materials; and
  • organize University-wide events and ceremonies.

Applicants should:

  • possess a recognized bachelor’s degree, preferably in communication, public relations, journalism, marketing, advertising or other related disciplines;
  • have at least 5 years of working experience in media, corporate communications, content management, event management or marketing communications is preferable.
  • have effective administrative and communication skills; 
  • have excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); and
  • be well-organized, and able to handle multi-tasks efficiently.

Working outside normal office hours may be required.
