About the Role
We're now looking for a proven and accomplished individual to join us as the Supply Chain & Procurement Assistant Manager. In this role you will be responsible for all procurement within the business excluding payroll.
As the Assistant Manager of Supply Chain & Procurement, you will be responsible for developing and monitoring the group’s supply chain policy and strategy, delivering reduced costs whilst securing high quality and responsibly sourced products for the business.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage, coordinate, organise and oversee all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of company goods and services
- Improve productivity and efficiency in purchasing and reduce costs while securing responsibly manufactured/sourced high-quality products for the group
- Analyse supply chain performance and resolve issues
- Control inventory, identify how much is in reserve at each location and decide when to use it
- Analyse supply chain data and performance
- Perform monthly trend and business analysis and forecast
- Responsible for end-to-end budgeting and forecast cycle for supply chain and procurement
- Analyses current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
- In-depth knowledge of Environmental and social governance (ESG) concerning expanding the organisation's objectives to include the identification, assessment and management of sustainability-related risks and opportunities concerning all organisational stakeholders (including but not limited to customers, suppliers, and employees) and the environment
- Keep track of logistics and the company's inventory
- Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and Finance, to create effective business plans
- Evaluate and report KPIs on COGS, OPEX, & fixed costs in restaurants & office
- Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
- Enter supply agreements with vendors to manage cost and quality
- Find cost-effective solutions to supply chain processes
- Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
- Resolve issues that come up (e.g., delays in delivery, accidents)
- Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
- Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain
- Keeping track and updating inventory
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
- Maintain good relationships with vendors and distributors
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Participates as an advisory member of the product development team, providing information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials.
- Organise transportation routes while combining shipments where possible
- Analyse data from the shipping and delivery process to find bottlenecks and other issues
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field
- An in depth understanding of supply chain processes and a good knowledge of relevant software and ERP systems
- A strong background in maths and an understanding of how that information is used for various purposes throughout the organisation like analysing demand trends and tracking orders
- Solid network of F&B suppliers in Hong Kong
- Previous experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar field
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Experience in ESG compliance and implementation
