Finance Department is under Cathay Subsidiary Services umbrella providing services Cathay Pacific Airways Limited’s subsidiaries including Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, Hong Kong Airport Services Limited and Vogue Laundry Service Limited. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support Input / Update required data in the payment systems in an accurate, complete and timely manner 
• Process vendor invoices / petty cash claims in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with credit terms/payment schedule of vendor contract 
• Perform month-end close of creditor's sub-ledger in an accurate, complete and timely manner 
• Assist to analyze and understand vendor contracts and ensure interpretation of the contract terms and conditions, and seek clarification from team leader where necessary 
• Perform application of all settlement to the creditor balance in a timely and accurate manner 
• Prepare the statement of accounts for vendors regularly to ensure the creditors and costs are completely and accurately accounted for on the books 
• Prepare the creditor's aging report and work with the team leader for follow up actions required 
• Participate in Fixed asset and Inventory counts, and prepare any resulting accounting provision as required 
• Any ad hoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma holder in related disciplines 
• Member of recognized accounting professional bodies is an advantage 
• Preferably with 1-2 year relevant working experience but fresh graduate will also be considered 
• Experience in SAP will be an advantage 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel 
• Strong team player and can work well independently with attention to details 
• Proactive with commitment and sense of responsibility 
• Good command of written and spoken English
