Job Purpose: 

“The manager needs to master the end-to-end supply chain process flow (from freight forwarding to Warehouse Operation & Distribution Transportation to Retail Stores & On-line Customers). Aim to drive Continuous Improvement, enhance Supply Chain Visibility and shorten Time-to-market (deliver to business growth & expansion and establish Improvement Procedure to drive Business Process Transformation and Sustainability under Supply Chain Cost Efficiency)

 

Key Accountabilities:

In addition to following Lane Crawford’s policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting be one of the Change Agent to drive the Continuous Improvement and Operational Efficiency across existing Supply Chain, for example: 
  • Freight Forwarding: drive shorten transit time for Vendors Shpt Pick-up to HK & ML marketplace,
  • IB W/H Ops: eliminate Shpt Issue Receiving Problem by Root Cause Analysis, 
  • OB W/H Ops: maximize Operational Efficiency & Productivity through Layout & Pick Face Setup, Wave Allocation Strategy in-place (by Order Pattern Analysis), etc. 
  • Distribution Ops: Cost reduction by Dynamic Load Plan Formulation, Truck Load Utilization Review and Transportation Route Optimization. 
  • Be Subject Matter Expert (SME) role to drive new WMS Implementation, incl: study AS IS Process, determine Pain Points Area need improve, in-depth analysis for WMS Solution & Functional Capabilities, Gap Analysis and make recommendations for Workaround Solution (if need). During the Implementation Phase, the candidate will take lead to act Project Manager Role and coordinate with In-house Parties, Tech Team and WMS Vendors to deploy all related Project Implementation Tasks. Also need to carry out the Proof of Concept, UAT Testing, Trial Run & Review (aim to 100% ensure Sys & Process Change NO impact to existing Luxury Retail Operations) 
  • Take lead to drive the Continuous Improvement Cycle and Solution Implementation, for example:   
  • Define the problem & opportunity for improvement through historical data analysis & business requirements collection. 
  • Measure existing process performance & process mapping, identify business insights & opportunities.
  • Analyze the process to determine root causes of variation, poor performance, determine solution pipeline and make recommendations with Cost & Benefit Justification.
  • Improve Implementation, take lead for all related deployment, such as Master Scheduling, Stakeholder Communication, Proof of Concept, UAT Testing, User Training, Issue Fix, Go-live Readiness Review, etc. 
  • Control the improved process, define KPI Requirements and keep monitoring future process performance.
  • Govern the Supply Chain Performance from Fright Forwarding to W/H Operation & Distribution to On-line Fulfillment & Off-line Retail Stores through Digital Dashboard Tools. Aim to deliver the Continuous Improvement Benefits to the Company, such as Fast to Market, Cost Efficiency, maximize Full Price Sell Through from Buying to Selling under Curation Execution. 

 

Qualification Requirements:

  • Work Experience: At least 5 years or above experience in Supply Chain Management and Logistics Operation (especially in Luxury Retail Fashion & Lifestyle). Proven track records from In-house or 3PL role for Operational Excellence across Freight Forwarding, Warehouse Operations and Distribution to On-line & Off-line Retail Stores.  
  • Education: University degree holder, major in Supply Chain Management and Business Operation Management. Holding professional certifications for Project Management and Continuous Improvement, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), LEAN Green / Black Belt qualification. Focus on Process Improvement Engineering will be a PLUS.
  • Hand-on knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS). Experience in handling WMS integration and new System Migration will be a MUST. Aim to drive the Process Innovation to maximize Warehouse Operational Efficiency and Productivity.
  • Proficient in computer skills for Microsoft Office Application and Business Data Analysis Tools, such as Power Query, Power BI, Power Automate, etc. The candidate is required to host the capability to run the Supply Chain Data Analysis, find out the Business Insight and deploy the 
    Change Improvement at Pain Point Area need immediate improvement. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to leverage all level stakeholders’ support, common interest and conflict resolve when improvement project implementation. Able to work under pressure and drive influence across dynamic Luxury Retail Organization. Punctual, honest, responsible, polite, result-oriented, well time management, team player to drive cross functional collaboration.
  • Language: Proficiency in English, Mandarin & Cantonese to cater for daily conference call, email communication and business presentation.
