Job Description
The Be Priceless is a health educational non-profit that strengthens personal growth, well-being and safety of children, especially those from vulnerable contexts.
Our team is trans-sectoral, including doctor, educator, counsellor, and more. We are passionate about nurturing the flourishing and health equity of our diverse community. We are looking forward to welcoming a new Educator to our team.
What you’ll be doing?
As a Be Priceless Community Engagement Officer, you will be a core team member of our trans-sectoral professional team. You will have abundant opportunities for personal and professional development.
Community Engagement & Partnerships: You will develop and nurture Be Priceless' relationships with our SEED graduate communities and their families; in addition to partners in different sectors, including youth, parents, educators, social workers, multicultural community leaders, schools, NGOs, funders, government departments, and more.
You will also play a key role in fostering stakeholder participation and collaborations with diverse SEED community members, other community groups, NGOs, schools, corporations, and funders to exponentiate our transformative impact.
Branding & Social Marketing: You will plan, develop, and implement targeted campaigns to drive brand awareness, long-term community engagement, and partnerships. This will include writing, editing and disseminating a variety of communications including press releases, website content, newsletter and online feeds, etc.
Resource Development: You will explore and develop new resources to support our programs and activities of community services; monitor and analyze the progress of implementation plans and projects
Who are we looking for? (Requirements)
- 3+ years of of solid experience in community engagement, marketing, customer service, and event management
- Degree holder preferably in social work, marketing, communications, business development, or related disciplines
- Work experience in NGOs or educational institutions, and fundraising and grant reporting would be an advantage.
- Excellent self- management capacity, including emotional regulation, time management, positive communications, and high standards for work performance
- Excellent project management capacity
- Excellent team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with growth mindset
- Excellent language skills in English and Chinese, verbal and written
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to network, build relations and develop loyalty among corporate, school and individual donors.
All staff must undergo regular background checks [including previous employment checks and Sexual Conviction Records Check (SCRC)] and abide by our code of conduct including for strict child safeguarding and data security policies are requirements. We have continuous and rigorous monitoring of issues of concerns safety of children and other vulnerable individuals. We will investigate/ report where appropriate.
