Job Description

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day aspects of planning/scheduling, process management, financial management, and task delivery of IT-related projects: 

Your Role

• To assist the project manager in managing large-scale systems project implementation/consultation in the management of core project processes including:
• Documentation and communication of project processes and workflows
• Ensuring adherence to the enterprise project processes and procedures
• Creation of overall project status and reporting regularly
• Understanding the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), estimating project costs, formulating Gantt charts for project planning purposes etc.
• Assist supervisor during programme and project execution to ensure successful, on-time delivery by anticipating dependencies and impediments, and prioritizing multiple stakeholders and tasks.
• Manage the project-related financial processes including project financial tracking
• Manage change management, including stakeholder process analysis, workshop facilitation, and mass communications.
• Work closely with the project managers to produce consistent and accurate program/project status reports including overall status updates, risks and issues updates, deliverables and schedule status etc.

To succeed in this role

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience, preferably some experience in Project Management or PMO office
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and project development lifecycles
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge; ability to work with pivot tables and formulas and/or macros
• Result-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Positive attitude, fast learning, energetic, able to perform in a challenging environment
• Knowledge in software development methodologies –Scrum/Agile and DevOps is beneficial
• Excellent communication (written and verbal in English and Chinese) and professional fluency in Chinese (Cantonese)
• skills with the ability to develop concise and practical communications for specific audiences. 
• Good interpersonal skills in building positive working relationships with diverse teams. Ability to influence, educate and collaborate to effectively achieve harmonious results.
