Responsibilities:

• Perform tender evaluation;
• Review contracts, including terms and conditions,  variations and claims, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements;  
• Monitor project costs, cash flow and financial performance with providing regular reports and analysis to managment;
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project budgets and cost control measures;
• Review projects' variation orders, payment applications and claims;
• Liaise and coordinate between internal departments and sub-contractors in respect of the progress and contracts;
• Co-ordinate with internal departments on project related issues;
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations and best practices in quantity surveying, implement relevant changes to improve processes and procedures;
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements: 

• Bachelor Degree / Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related disciplines;
• 2 - 3 years’ relevant experience in quantity surveying with a focus on cost management and contract administration;
• In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods and relevant legislation;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure;
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Candidates with consultant working background is advantage but not essential
