Job Description:
As a Digital Business Manager for eCommerce IT projects, you will play a crucial role in driving and managing digital initiatives within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and execute eCommerce projects, ensuring successful implementation and optimization of our online business platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, operations, and external vendors, to deliver innovative and customer-centric digital solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management for eCommerce IT projects, including planning, scoping, budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable project plans
- Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage external vendors and service providers to support project execution and delivery
- eCommerce Platform Development: Drive the development and enhancement of eCommerce platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences, optimized performance, and robust security
- Integration and Data Management: Coordinate the integration of eCommerce systems with other internal systems, such as ERP, CRM, and inventory management, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze eCommerce performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies to drive conversion and revenue growth
- User Experience Optimization: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to optimize the user experience across digital touchpoints, ensuring a seamless and intuitive customer journey
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate project updates, progress, and risks to relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle
- Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as data protection and privacy policies, and implement robust security measures to protect customer information
- Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest eCommerce industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field
- Proven experience (5 years) in managing eCommerce IT projects, preferably within the eCommerce, retail, or consumer goods industry
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, technology landscape, and industry trends
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive insights and decision-making
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
- Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, and online customer acquisition strategies is a plus
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies is desirable
