Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop a set of relevant human factors standards, methodologies and guidelines
• Provide professional advice on human factors management and conducting technical studies, as well as communicating best practices to segments in Hong Kong Transport Services Business Unit
• Drive continuous improvement in safety and service performance by integrating human factors considerations into relevant elements of safety management system and business processes, such as asset design and renewal, incident investigation, competence management and risk assessments
• Lead the implementation of the newly developed human factors tools and monitor their continuous application within Hong Kong Transport Services
• Manage a team of engineers to ensure quality delivery of human factors management services

Requirements

• Degree in Psychology or a related engineering discipline
• Possession of qualifications or relevant research in Ergonomics is preferred
• A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience such as human factors/ ergonomics preferably gained in an operating railway environment, of which 3 years should be at supervisory level
• Membership of a professional institution preferably in human factors/ ergonomics
• Experiences in safety/ risk management, engineering or operations, preferably in railway sector
• Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and report writing skills
