Job Description

The Role

SEEK Asia is looking for a capable and dynamic Business Development Manager to manage a portfolio of Strategic Accounts across our business to drive regional deals and solution selling. Reporting to the Regional Strategic Accounts Sales Director, this role will be instrumental in the build of a new team to drive regional sales engagement across the 6 SEEK Asia markets.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a good understanding of commercial organizations with large, agile teams, be able to build deep relationships with senior team members of organisations and an ability to drive initiatives and lead conversations to position SEEK Asia as a HR Partner of Choice to organisations across the region.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • To develop a deep understanding of our solutions, the sectors we serve and customer buying cycles
  • To hunt and engage proactively with marquee brands and organisation new to SEEK Asia at a senior team member level and find opportunities for SEEK Asia
  • Serve as primary eyes and ears for SEEK Asia in the market. Become a fixture at community and corporate events to advocate and build SEEK Asia’s clientele
  • Deliver highly productive activities weekly to create and move opportunities in the pipeline with the goal to overachieve targets and KPI set
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to lead successful go to market campaigns
  • Ensure value of solutions are realised by our clients and to drive continued engagement working with customer care teams to drive adoption
  • Build yearly business plans incorporating the growth strategies of both our clients and SEEK Asia

Qualifications

Essential Skills, Experiences and Competencies

  • Understand and be driven by the OurSeek Values in all interactions with clients and internal team members
  • An outstanding track record of success as past success is a strong indicator of future potential
  • A keenly developed competitive nature and internal drive to succeed. Regional sales experience an advantage
  • Maintain a strong level of industry knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with clients
  • Experience leading a team through strategic conversation and aligning internal resources to drive outcomes desired
  • An ability to utilise data to identify opportunities for growth
  • Superior written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to capture an audience
  • Accurate forecasting and pipeline management skills
  • Be able to work independently to drive outcomes
  • Energy, passion, humour and enthusiasm

Desirable Skills, Experiences and Qualification

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications as a minimum
  • 5+ years prior corporate business development or sales experience is a must
  • Strong experience in account management and conflict resolution
  • Contribute individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring others
  • Always open to learn and constantly looking for self-development opportunities
