Job Description

Position : Assistant Manager, Business Development (Airline)

Location : Hong Kong

 

Identifying & acquiring key suppliers

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the airline vertical.
  • Identify and engage with the Airline industry, Tour Agency, 3rd party platform and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue streams from airline partnerships, including pricing strategies, promotions, and upsell opportunities.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements that align with our business goals.
  • Communicate business strengths and brand value to suppliers
  • Planning and driving promotional programs with trade partners to achieve the KPIs

Account Management

  • Engage key suppliers and provide the best solutions to address their business needs and maximize their sales potential with KKday
  • Understand each supplier’s products and collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns to drive effectiveness
  • Report key information regarding market trends, customers, competitors, pricing, or any other industry information that may impact the business.
  • Work closely with internal departments to cross-sell, leverage, and maximize revenue opportunities

We would love to hear from you if…

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or Marketing preferred
  • Proven track record in business development, particularly within the Tour Agency, 3rd party platform.
  • Strong network and existing relationships within the Hong Kong airline industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to succeed in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Highly effective communication and influencing skills with fluency in local language and English.
  • Good leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution and problem-solving, and presentation skills
  • Your strong interpersonal and communication skills help you to liaise, cooperate and influence multiple stakeholders
  • Strong planning and organizing skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Globally-minded and comfortable working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Proactively seek innovative opportunities to drive sales and a can-do attitude.
  • Candidates with more desirable experiences will be considered for Assistant Manager
