Job Description
AMAZINGTHING relentlessly pursue greater perfection. As a Creative Director, you will lead and mentor a diverse team of 5 to 8 creative professionals for multiple premium mobile accessories brands. A successful candidate will work closely with the Brand Director, Head of Global Marketing, and Head of Product while reporting directly to the CEO. He/she unnecessarily comes from the same industry but must be able to demonstrate his/her adaptable vision and capabilities with extensive research and referencing skills, hands-on creative skills, and management skills. Responsibilities:
- Operation and Resource Management: Ensure smoothness of design service operation, ability to make available, utilize and allocate resources effectively, and optimize productivity to deliver projects on time while being able to cover operation loopholes where necessary.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of creative professionals from different cultural backgrounds, including a manager, to perform the functions of product design, packaging, graphic and multimedia design, 3D rendering, and more. Provide guidance, feedback, and support to foster their professional growth and ensure high-quality creative output.
- Design Excellence: Uphold a high standard of design excellence, ensuring all creative assets meet quality benchmarks, reflect industry best practices, and push the boundaries of innovation.
- Creative Planning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behaviour to inform and shape our creative strategies while overseeing the entire creative process for conceptualizing and executing innovative ideas and maintaining brand consistency across all creative initiatives to effectively communicate our brand's message and resonate with our target audience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and other cross-functional teams to understand business goals, market insights, and target audience needs. Proactively identify and address expectation gaps and provide solutions.
Requirement:
- Proactive, possess strong communication skills, excel in collaborative environments, and prioritize professionalism and positive interactions within the workplace.
- Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar leadership role that demonstrated leadership and management skills to achieve exceptional results.
- Experience in managing design teams across different countries and time zones.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand strategy, creative concept development, and execution across various mediums.
- Excellent hands-on skills and exceptional understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into creative solutions that drive brand growth and engagement.
- Knowledge of current industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behaviour.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in various design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D or similar.
- Willing to travel occasionally.
