Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, operation and refurbishment of large scale commercial properties
• Manage contractor on engineering issues / works
• Develop technical specifications on tendering for maintenance, improvement and refurbishment works with contracts administration monitoring and site works supervision
• Vet tenant fit-out submission in the light of commercial required quality control
• Coordinate with tenants, leasing team and interior design team to facilitate tenant fit-out works are technically and commercially sound
• Provide technical support to Property Management team and other departments regarding building services & maintenance including tenant fitting out, reinstatement, minor alteration & modification / addition works and advising technical comments
• Plan, organize, direct and control of multi-disciplinary technical activities in safe, reliable, cost effective and quality driven manner
• Formulate technical strategies and streamline procedures to enhance technical team's overall efficiency and effectiveness
• Deal with external consultants, government authorities, public utilities and tenants on technical and statutory requirements
• Ensure all technical setup and performance are fully comply with the current local legislation
• Prepare and account for the budget associated with the technical team
• Manage and coordinate with Management Office related to technical issues
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Senior Management

Requirements

• Degree holder in building services, electrical, mechanical, building studies, building surveying, engineering or construction related discipline
• MHKIE (Building Services/ Electrical/ Mechanical) / MHKIS/ MRICS or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
• Minimum 10 years' experience in building services or building maintenance, preferably in commercial building maintenance with 4 years at supervisory level
• Energy saving and audit related experience is preferred
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Good PC skills
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
