Job Summary:

As an Assistant Logistics Manager, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing our logistics operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective movement of goods, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and meet customer requirements.
• Monitor and optimize logistics processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficient solutions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, track shipments, and perform regular inventory reconciliations.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure appropriate stock levels and manage inventory replenishment.
• Analyze logistics data and generate reports to evaluate performance, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and safety guidelines in logistics operations.
• Participate in the development and implementation of logistics strategies, goals, and initiatives.
• Train and mentor logistics team members, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience 5 years in logistics operations, preferably in a supervisory or assistant management role.
• Strong knowledge of logistics principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficient in using logistics management software and systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining accuracy and precision in logistics operations.
