Role

The primary purpose of the Business Development position is to achieve their overall revenue goal. In order to achieve this goal, he/she must create a complete territory business plan that generates 4x their quota in pipeline opportunity. He/She is responsible to identify and qualify opportunities, develop and drive strategy.

Responsibility

• Independently identifying and acquiring new customers, in addition to up selling to existing customer base
• Preparing and executing “Seeing is Believing” (POC) events
• Managing contract negotiations to closure
• Building up a sustainable pipeline for assigned territory or segment
• Participation in trade show events, workshops and seminars
• Extensive travelling may be required

Profile

 

• You have 5+ years of successful software solutions sales experience
• Experience in selling to senior decision makers
• Strong background in selling enterprise software solutions to the Financial Services Industry
• Ideally you are bringing segment specific sales experience with you
• Ability to qualify and prioritize prospects, and generate opportunities through prospecting, networking and relationship building
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent communication, listening, presentation, and writing skills
• An outgoing, focused and organized person with a strong will to succeed
• Four year degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent verbal and written English, Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus
