Merchandising Manager will report to the Director and will be a key player in execution of product development and drive for the best costing, as well as vendor allocation base on Network Strategy and capacity reservation for both sampling and bulk production. Vendor and COO migration is key focus for manager to execute with a heavy and balance penetration among vendor and COO. The role would also be responsible for educating and building strong team to support the business, work with cross functional team to continuously drive for simplification by fine tuning the processes to deliver the end to end operational productively and effectively.

What you'll do

• Manages product development, drive for best cost.
• Maintains relationships with mills and vendors and drive for strategic conversation with them that able to impact our business
• Responsible for vendor sourcing and product development, sample order placement in efficient and effective manner
• Works with Technical, QA and VD to ensure all commercial decision and standards are up to our standard
• Partners with cross function teams in problem solving, conduct product risk assessment and counter sourcing to support best placement plan
• Monitor the vendor and COO penetration as to cope with aligned Network sourcing strategy
• Works with vendors on innovation / development.
• Manages garment price and development products tracking
• Following up with vendors on system-updates
• Execution of vendor sourcing strategy.
• Partners with brand and yarn R&D team to develop innovative, sustainable and quality product
• Product Testing, Partners with PI, QA and technical teams and support to product quality maintenance and re solve any quality issue
• Resolves issues in a timely manner while working to continuously improve and create internal and external processes and procedures
• Support on board new vendor and COO migration

Who You Are

• Yarn and sweater Knowledge – Experience in sweater products development with exposure to large-sized buying office or vendors.
