Job Description
To cope with the transformation of the research industry and also support our rapidly growing business, we are looking for talents to work with us, who will be provided valuable exposure to a wide spectrum of industries, innovative tools & platforms and insightful analytical frameworks in Hong Kong as well as the APAC region.
Our Healthcare research specialists are dedicated to understanding the motivations, behaviour and influences of the multiple stakeholders driving commercial success in the healthcare industry. In doing so, we guide pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies in building successful brands and optimizing their sales potential.
We are looking for a Research Manager to work collaboratively to assist with uncovering and communicating key insights, contexts, and actionable quantitative and qualitative strategies.
Depending on experience, candidates may be considered for the role of Senior Research Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to independently run a research program including the materials design, client liaison up to result in delivery – regional program project management experience is an advantage
- Deliver actionable insights to clients, including but not limited to healthcare systems, different therapeutic areas, and cultural issue
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the research process - questionnaire writing, research design, analysis and presentation, and preparation of reports based on client objectives
- Prepare content for pitches and proposals by using Ipsos solutions and tools
- Conduct quantitative interviews with doctors or patients and work on qualitative verbatim transcripts or content analysis
- Liaise regularly with all key internal parties and counterparts to ensure that reliable results are delivered to the client in a timely, cost-efficient manner
- Coach juniors to build their research skills and knowledge to ensure the quality of service
Qualifications:
- University degree holder, preferably with a major in Public Health, Health care, Biotechnology, Life Science, Food Nutrition, Pharmacy, Food Science
- At least 3 years of marketing research experience
Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge in either market research, consultancy or marketing
- Knowledge in pharmaceutical, medical device or OTC are preferable
Skill (including technical and people skill):
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Able to delegate
- Good team player
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Good qualitative skills or moderation techniques is an advantage
