about the job.
As a a Logistics Director, you will
-Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency
-Negotiate and manage contracts with logistics service providers, carriers, and suppliers to optimize costs and service levels
-Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
-Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as transportation regulations, customs requirements, and safety guidelines
-Implement and utilize logistics management systems and technologies to enhance visibility, tracking, and reporting capabilities
-Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
-Identify and manage risks within the logistics operations, implement appropriate mitigation strategies
-Keep abreast of industry trends, emerge technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

skills & experiences required.
-Degree holder from a recognisable university
-A proven track record of several years in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior management role
-Experience in the health care industry or a similar regulated environment is desirable
-Experience in driving operational excellence, optimizing costs, and delivering exceptional customer service through effective logistics management
-Proven Management and/or relationship management experience at a senior, strategic level role
-Strong leadership & negotiation skills; Able to motivate the teammates
-Adaptable to changing circumstances, handle pressure, and maintain composure while ensuring smooth logistics operations
-Ability to identify process inefficiencies, implement improvement initiatives, and monitor performance metrics.
-Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
