Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop efficient and effective foundation designs for construction projects.
• Conduct site inspections to assess ground conditions, soil testing, and analyse data to determine the most suitable foundation solutions.
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and specifications for foundation designs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Utilise engineering software and tools to model and analyse foundation systems, including deep foundations, pile foundations, and shoring systems.
• Oversee the construction phase, providing technical guidance and support to the construction team to ensure proper implementation of foundation designs.
• Perform structural analysis and evaluation of existing structures to assess their stability and recommend necessary repairs or reinforcements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for foundation works, considering project requirements and budget constraints.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to foundation engineering, and incorporate them into the company's processes.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification in Hong Kong or a recognized jurisdiction.
• Relevant experience in construction industry desirable.
• Strong knowledge of foundation design principles, geotechnical engineering, and soil mechanics.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, Plaxis, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and construction practices in Hong Kong.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex engineering challenges.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
