ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work collaboratively with all departments as well as the Director of Marketing and Communications, PR Manager/s, Creative Manager & Assistant Digital Marketing Manager to execute hotel activations across marketing platforms such as social media, digital marketing and design touchpoints with a 360 view.
  • Responsible for strategy and management of the social media agency for all social media channels (hotel and F&B) including strategy, content creation, scheduling, copy writing edits and community management.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, editors, content creators to oversee the creation of compelling and optimized content for various hotel and F&B outlet social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and graphics, while maintaining adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of photo shoots from start to finish, including but not limited to preparing mood boards, briefing in the corresponding creative agencies and talents (if required), booking locations, and creating shooting schedules.
  • Oversee the creation of visual assets including art, photo, video, and layout design.
  • Establish art direction of design, format standards and processes to produce consistent and high-quality results with the Creative Manager.
  • Manage the approval process for creative campaign assets created by the Creative Manager.
  • Manage the curation of monthly content calendars across Instagram, Instagram stories and Facebook and submit in a timely manner to Director of Communications for review.
  • Actively participate in the business plan preparation and support the commercial goals of the hotel, F&B outlets, Asaya and retail through content strategy with emphasis on driving the revenue objectives.
  • Be sensitive to issues, potential crisis online and offline, escalate to Director of Marketing and Communications when necessary.
  • Be on top of marketing and industry trends, be able to turn observations and data into insights to contribute to the hotel’s overall communication strategies.
     

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years of experience either from an agency or in-house, with hands-on planning and execution across Facebook and Instagram, or editorial roles with a focus on social media from reputable publications or online portals.
  • Presentable and self-starter with good business acumen.
  • Possess practical skills in photography, photo editing, video editing, and basic graphic design.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Creative Suite will be an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must. Cantonese desirable.
