- A hands-on role to handle routine contentious matters (including rent recovery, personal injury claims, tenant and customer complaints and disputes, distress action, bankruptcy and winding-up proceedings)
- Handle basic enquiries from internal business and operational teams, collaborate with, instruct and monitor external legal advisers, and act as a liaison between these parties
- Provide legal and administrative support to Legal Department, including conducting research, preparing translation, document preparation, filing, other administrative duties and such other ad hoc assignments as requested from time to time
- Able to work collaboratively as a member of a Team
Job Requirement
- University Graduate or Holder of Higher Diploma in Law or equivalent (degree holder in other disciplines with solid experiences in legal works will also be considered);
- Minimum 2 years' relevant working experience;
- Solid experience in handling litigation and familiar with court procedures
- Preferably with experience in trademark application and knowledge in leasing matters;
- In house experience would be a plus;
- Excellent organizational skills and communication skills, attention to details;
- Self-motivated, organized and team-player;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Immediately available preferred.
