Position 1) Engineering Summer Trainee - Civil & Structure

The Role

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

• Assist the implementation of civil projects (warehouse foundation works, T9 pile protection works, T2 Fender replacement works)
• Handle the drawing of terminals construction and maintain the document control system
• Assist the maintenance and inspection work of civil facilities in terminals (fender, crane rail, bollard typhoon anchor, road marking, ICCP, ship alarm system, asphalt pavement and concrete & steel structures etc.)

The Person

The ideal candidate should have / be:

• Undergraduate in Civil and Structural Engineering or related discipline
• Proficient in MS application, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Detail-minded and well-organized
• Diligent, prudent and wiling to learn

Position 2) Engineering Summer Trainee - Facilities Maintenance

The Role

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

• To assist the design review process of E&M specifications of warehouse project and document control system
• To study innovative solutions in the market for the management of warehouse (Smart system)
• To assist the maintenance and inspection work of facilities maintenance team in terminals (Electrical and ELV system, water and drainage system, Fire Services system/equipment, MVAC equipment and lift maintenance work, etc.)

The Person

The ideal candidate should have / be:

• Undergraduate in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline
• Proficient in MS application, especially Word and Excel
• Detail-minded and well-organized
• Diligent, prudent and wiling to learn
