Our Hong Kong office is currently seeking Structural Steelwork Engineers and Railway Structure Design Engineer who have previous experience in structural modelling, designing and detailing in both permanent and temporary works.

Job Summary 

This role is a great opportunity to join a successful established team, working alongside some of the best engineers the industry has to offer.  It will also provide you with an opportunity to work on a wide portfolio of major projects across Asia.  The successful applicant will be involved in the design of structures with a focus on Engineering for construction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Structural analysis by computer modelling and hand calculations
• Structural design and detailing
• Production of design sketches
• Supervision of the production of CAD drawings
• Production of design reports
• Working within a team of Engineers and CAD technicians
• Correspondence with clients

Essential:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in the design of steel structures for Structural Steelwork Engineer / Minimum of two years’ experience in reinforced structure and foundation design (preferably in railway project) for Railway Structure Designer Engineer
• Experience in use of computer software for the analysis of structures
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken)
• Enthusiastic and hard-working
• Ability to work in a team of Engineers and CAD technicians

Desired:

• Ability to use basic AutoCAD
• Ability to use SAP2000/Sofistik
• Computer programming skills including VBA in Excel
• Ability to use Microsoft Access

Note:

       -       Candidates with less than 2 years' experience will be considered for the Graduate Engineer position

       -       Fresh Graduate and IANG are also welcome

Qualifications:

• BEng or MEng in Civil/Structural Engineering
