Job Description
Principal Accountabilities:
- Report to the Finance Director and oversee all aspects of financial control in the business, including consolidation and related financial reporting, credit management, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations and future investments.
- Ensure tax returns are filed in a timely manner, advise on tax planning and optimization.
- Establish financial policies and procedures and strengthen internal controls.
- Work with external auditors to support yearly audit, ensure successful compliance, fulfilling statutory requirements.
- Liaise with external parties, such as auditors, tax advisors and bankers.
- Drive automation initiatives and leverage emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency as well as enhance the overall effectiveness of Group’s finance operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, ideally with international exposure.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields. Professional accounting qualification such as CPA.
Skills:
- Strong technical skills and solid knowledge of financial operations and accounting principles, including month-end closing, AP, AR, GL, audit, tax, and consolidation.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Develop, lead, and manage the team, fostering a high-performance culture and providing mentorship and guidance.
- Hands-on, energetic, mature, self-motivated. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Change management and continuous improvement champion.
- IT savvy, experience of Microsoft D365 is an advantage.
