Our client is a newly set up European Buying Office in Hong Kong. As they are growing their business, they are now looking for a Supply Quality Assurance Engineer position. 

Responsibilities:

• To manage the audits planned in order to determine the system competencies of the supplier companies, in accordance with the internal regulations of country and headquarter in Europe
• To manage factory audits of new potential suppliers and regular checking of the existing supplier technical situations and in case of some improvement needed guide the producer partners,
• Check the quality of all products in source and before shipment with coordination of trusted QC partners and give suggestions for improving the production process if necessary. (Source inspection/shipment inspection)
• To follow the error rates in the products purchased from the suppliers, to identify the recurring errors and to ensure that the necessary actions are taken at the suppliers in order to take the necessary corrective and preventive actions to eliminate the root cause of the error.
• To plan and ensure that process audits are carried out at critical suppliers in order to manage supply chain risks in terms of product compliance and to ensure process and product compliance.
• To monitor outsourced processes, improve processes and develop suppliers within the scope of products/services.
• Managing the activities of selecting suppliers, monitoring performance, improving and developing processes.
• To monitor the performance of the suppliers, to initiate improvement activities by managing the determination of the issues that need improvement.
• To ensure selection, evaluation and periodic follow-up audits of companies that are or are planned to be suppliers (distributors, subcontractors and vendors)
• Publishing audit reports
• To follow the budget plan, to implement the plan or to ensure its implementation.
• To ensure implementation in accordance with the procedures and instructions as required by the management systems, to follow up and maintain the up-to-datedness of the documents concerning their own unit.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree from the Engineering Faculties of the Universities.
• Being able to communicate in native language level Chinese (mandarin and/or Cantonese) and English at an advanced level in written and oral communication,
• Min. 5 years of experience in related fields,
• To have experience of using MS Office and ERP Applications,
