Act as business partner to ZEISS Hong Kong to review, analyze the financial and business information to provide professional advice, to drive cost effectiveness and process efficiency and to optimize ROI. Typical Responsibilities Include: 

• Responsible for Business Group Financial Planning and Analysis, and monitor operational performance and proactively identify opportunities for operational/financial improvement
• Provide detailed analysis of P&L, performance metrics, and propose actionalble measures when results are falling short of target
• Control Business Group OpEx and working capital
• Responsible for business group CAPEX planning and control

Responsibilities:

Controlling:

• Report weekly sales and latest estimation to management and headquarter
• Prepare monthly reports with variance analysis for management to review
• Overview the month end closing and co ordinate with accounting team located outside of Hong Kong to ensure a timely closing
• Assist in forecasts/budget/mid term planning, trend analysis of expenses, revenue and other items
• Evaluate product portfolio with respect to price and cost to ensure profitability of the business
• Regularly review the effectiveness of promotional programs & ROI of marketing activities
• Control responsible business group OpEx and working capital
• Responsible for business group CAPEX planning and control
• Participate demand forecast review meeting to ensure accuracy
• Support the annual financial audit & stock count together with local warehouse department and respective support-ing function teams located outside of Hong Kong 
• Support in presentation materials and relevant data compilation for performance review with management.
• Support process and reporting standardization, automation and best practice sharing 
• Participate in new initiatives & projects and evaluate financial impact to strive for better profitability.
• Provide financial support to business group ad hoc requests
• Other assigned tasks by the supervisor

Administration:

• Support in administration and fulfil business-level projects: e.g. import license and/or medical device license applications, company distribution license.
  
   

Requirement:

Education:

• University degree: Bachelor or above, major in accounting or finance

Experience:

• At least 2 years experience ideally gained through financial planning and controlling posi-tions at MNC or sizeable corporation
• Exposure to FMCG or retailing business is preferred

• Mature and able to work independently with good analytical skills
• Good business and commercial sense
• Detail-minded, well-organized, high accuracy, responsible and commitment to deadlines
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English & Chinese 
• Energetic, highly motivated, self-confident & logic thinking
• Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint is a must
• SAP system/Hyperion/Power BI knowledge preferred
