Job Description

Overview:

Based in Hong Kong and responsible for achieving business growth. 

 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and manage collaborations with major scientific institutions and key opinion leaders to further validate PHASE scientific products and technologies
  • Identify and manage partnerships with key industry players to facilitate product development, commercial distribution and technology licensing deals
  • Identify and manage beta site testing and evangelize early adopters
  • Work directly with key opinion leaders and major customers to establish product specifications, product positioning and generate new product concepts
  • Develop commercial go-to-market approach for the region including multiyear and annual sales plan with quarterly implementation and review processes to ensure achievement of sales, profit and strategic objectives
  • Identify new large-volume opportunities to develop strategic business relationships in key accounts
  • Identify commercial opportunities in the form of new customers and/or new products, continually provide feedback around market development, new product opportunities, customer trends and competitive activities. 

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or relevant filed
  • A proven track record of at least 10 years in a Business Leadership or Business Development role in life science, pharmaceutical or similar industries
  • Background in oncology, liquid biopsy and molecular diagnostics a plus
  • Network of oncology/liquid biopsy KOLs in research and industry
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter, able to grow a business from scratch
  • Experience in commercializing new products
  • Rich sales experience including driving the sales process from plan to close, building and maintaining an effective sales pipeline, building strong networks and successfully managing long term customer relationships
  • Desire to work in a fast-growing company
