My client is a Top Crypto Trading Quant House with overseas exposure looking for C++/C#/Java to support the trading activities

As a Junior Developer, you will:

• Assist in developing applications and tools to augment and support front office trading
• Assist in maintaining and improving our proprietary algorithmic trading engine, connectivity to 60+ exchanges, peripheral applications, as well as user interfaces, with the latest .NET and C++ technologies, to support our 24/7 trading activities
• Investigate production issue, identify root cause and propose solution
• Work in an international team of like-minded professionals in agile and autonomous environment
• Collaborate with senior teammates to investigate the latest technologies and industry best-practices. When appropriate, design together the required change and integrate them to expand our system’s capabilities, lower latency, and improve performance
• Be on-call rota around the clock to ensure our global operations run smoothly

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, or any other Object-Oriented Programming language (e.g., Java).
• Strong interest in trading, financial markets, and blockchain technologies.
• Focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability of deliverables.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems with elegant solutions.
• Exposure to multithreading, web protocols (e.g., WebSocket, RESTful), or high throughput/low latency design is a plus.
• Understanding of the dynamic nature of the cryptocurrency business and willingness to work beyond traditional working hours.
