About the Role

Lead the development and maintenance of the AI and machine solution for various operation. Leverage data analytics techniques and collaborate with cross functional team to providing actionable insights to the management team to drive business decisions, operations efficiency and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply advanced data mining and statistical analysis techniques to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends in large and complex datasets related to various insurance operations problem statements
  • Develop Analytics / ML solutions for all operations functions (i.e. Underwriting, Claims FWA, Service etc.) to increase business efficiency and improve customer experience
  • Automate operations process by using AI solutions to increase STP to reduce costs
  • Collaborate with the data engineering team to gather and preprocess relevant data, ensuring its quality, accuracy, and suitability for analysis
  • Work closely with the Cross-functional team to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations to drive decision-making
  • Utilize data visualization tools to communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Provide training and mentorship to Operations colleague, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a numerate discipline, e.g. Actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • At least 5 years of working experience, ideally with experience in predictive analytics
  • Experience in Insurance Operations, or Healthcare analytics
  • Hands-on experience in the use of at least one advanced data analysis platform (e.g. Python, TensorFlow/Pytorch)
  • Exposure to all stages of data analytics project lifecycle (scope definition, data requirements, extraction, exploration, transformation, solution development, tracking, and implementation)
  • Demonstrable understanding of data quality risks and ability to carry out necessary exploratory data analysis and quality checks to validate results obtained
  • Experience with a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree, random forest, etc.)
  • Knowledge of deep learning solutions and architectures – Convolutional Neural Network, Recurrent Neural Network and Transformer
  • Excellent relationship management, strong team building, and the ability to work across business units and functions to drive positive business outcomes
  • Sound knowledge of programming in SQL or other programming experience
  • Articulate, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Adaptable, able to interact and build strong relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Consultant
