Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Community Specialist who will be responsible for monitoring and responding to player messages on social platforms such as Discord and Facebook. The role involves providing feedback to internal colleagues, such as game planners, for game improvement. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for setting up sub-channels and configuring bots on Discord servers.
 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor social platforms, checking player messages daily to ensure prompt responses
• Collaborate closely with the game planning team to understand game content and features in order to provide accurate answers and feedback
• Respond to player questions, concerns, and feedback, offering friendly and professional assistance
• Monitor trends and topics in player messages, reporting important issues and suggestions to the internal team to assist with game improvement and optimization
• Assist in managing the community platforms, including moderating inappropriate content and managing user behavior
• Create and maintain community communication resources such as FAQs, game guides, etc., for player reference
• Set up sub-channels on Discord, assisting with server structure and organization
• Configure and manage Discord bots to provide automation and monitoring functionalities
   

Requirement 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to interact with players in a friendly and professional manner
• 1-2 year experience or above relevant experience
• Experience in community management or customer service, familiar with social platform operations and management
• Basic understanding of the gaming industry and player needs
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and departments, demonstrating teamwork and effective communication
• Experience in setting up and managing Discord servers, familiarity with sub-channel and bot configuration and operation
   

Preferred:

• Must have prior experience in online gaming community management and Discord server setup
• Background in game design or game development
