Head of Brokerage Channel, Partnership Distribution (Insurance)

A fast-moving local Insurance Group is looking for a Director of Brokerage Channel to drive the Broker’s business.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve the sales targets of Brokerage Channel and manage its P&L
• Penetrate the broker’s network and build the relationship & strive for business excellence
• Develop promotion and marketing campaigns to enhance the relationship with business partners so as to enable the business growth
• Build various systems on sales support, training and coaching to business partners
• Work cross functionally to drive and enhance the operational processes which support the growth of the brokerage business
• Assist in planning, budgeting, organizing and executing the marketing strategies, promotions and events
• Prepare Management reporting for Senior Management, monitor the quality of business and prepare business plan or forecast
• Keep abreast of the market update so as to enable provision of latest marketing intelligence including but not limited to regulatory and compliance requirements, best practice and news of competitors 

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Business Administration, Economics & Finance, Marketing or related disciplines
• Over 10 years of working experience in channel distribution, preferably in broker’s channel
• Possess insurance related qualifications e.g., IIQE Paper I & III, FLMI, etc.
• Strategic and well planned
• High level of integrity and honesty
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build sound relationship with brokers
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant General Manager
