Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform the administrative work for the team, including reconciliation reports, database, billing and filing of key information.
  • Support event planning, manage event implementation and carry out post-event evaluations.
  • Handle and answer daily inquiries from all channels in the proper manner.
  • Actively collaborate with internal teams to ensure flawless coordination and execution of campaigns and events especially with finance and IT.
  • Provide operational and administrative support for activities as required, guaranteeing seamless event execution.
  • Support the development of online and offline promotional materials, including creating compelling copy that resonates with our audience.
  • Conceptualize new fundraising and engagement to support SPCA’s vision.
  • Support the Team in achieving financial targets set for each assigned fundraising project and campaign.
  • Proactive is suggesting event concepts and experiences that perfectly align with the organization’s perspective.
  • Assist in sourcing external suppliers and vendors to achieve competitive prices, deals and terms.
  • Assist in building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with donors and sponsors.
  • In tune in the animal welfare and pet trends in the market to generate new ideas and partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or relevant discipline, such a secretarial qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 year’s experience in administrative support, preferably in event management sector
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Flexible to work on weekends and public holidays when and where required
  • Extrovert, appetite to grow into event management and fundraising space
  • Genuine interest in the welfare of animals.
