Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on various asset classes, including bonds, equities, derivatives, commodities, and alternative investments etc in the global market to identify market trends and advise on strategic and tactical asset allocation of discretionary investment portfolios.
• Conduct thorough analysis of potential investment risk and opportunities, including financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment and provide actionable recommendations based on portfolio mandates.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers to develop and implement investment strategies and manage portfolio risk exposure via stress tests and scenario analysis.
• Responsible for setting up industry funds, mergers and acquisitions funds, or co-investment funds to serve the company's strategic services for enterprises, developing investment strategies, planning investment cycles, investment portfolios, and exit methods.
• Assist in client’s portfolio management analysis, including asset allocation, investment manager selection, fund performance, risk and attribution analysis, leveraging analytics tools, internal databases and third-party resources.
• Carry out post-investment management work for invested projects, regularly collect, organize, analyze, and report on the operational status of invested projects, as well as related policies, trends, and dynamics, timely discover potential operational risks, and actively respond to major issues that arise.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment opportunities.
• Perform other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder in Investment Management, Finance, Economics, Business administration, Statistics or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Futures, Stock Option and Risk Management With track record on China / US equity and futures market from China’s investment and securities firm.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with a deep understanding of investment valuation techniques, risk assessment, and portfolio management.
• Sound knowledge of financial markets, asset classes, risk and investment strategies; analytical skills, financial modeling, and research skills.
• Solid existing investor relationships in Greater China and Hong Kong, strong ability to develop new institutional clients; strong network in HNW clients and solid experience in business development;
• Strong network in securities firms, responsible for covering and building connections with securities firms;
• Sufficient experience, good market sense and strong knowledge on investment (especially in primary and secondary equity market);
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Bloomberg, Excel, and other financial modeling platform.
• Strong work ethics, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese,      mandarin is required.

More experience will be considered as Assistant Director.
