Our client

Our client is a well known company and is currently looking for a Business Analyst to cope with their growth. For their large scale digital transformation project, they are expanding their team to carry out the data migration process. 

Job responsibilities

• To participate in Data Mapping, Data Quality Check, Data Health Check etc. 
• Collaborating with stakeholders, business users, and data engineering teams to understand and document business requirements related to data processing, analysis, and reporting.
• Data Validation and Quality Assurance: Working with Data Engineers to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. You will develop and execute data validation procedures to identify and rectify data quality issues.
• Data Transformation and Integration: Collaborating with Data Engineers to define and implement data integration processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) workflows. You will assist in mapping business rules and data transformations to ensure data is transformed accurately. 
• Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyzing and understanding the data requirements, data structures, and data sources. 

Requirements

- Degree holder in Business Administration or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 3+ years of working experience as a functional Business Analyst. 
- Insurance or Finance Institution a huge advantage. 
- Solid experience in data extraction using SQL. 
- Solid experience in large scale Data Migration projects 
- Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skill.
- Good command of both written and spoken Cantonese and English
