Location: Sheung Wan
Roles & responsibilities:
- Identify and supervise feasibility studies to formulate optimal development schemes;
- investigate potential investment and development opportunities in the market;
- conduct market research, financial analysis and asset valuation for various purposes;
- deliver valuable insight, plans, vision for the purpose of driving business optimization and propose the business plan to senior management;
- work closely with different teams on asset enhancement, marketing strategies, development plans and operation models, etc.;
- identify, formulate and implement new business opportunities/models and marketing strategies;
- initiate, develop, coordinate, monitor and implement Government, pilot and development projects throughout the different stages of the projects;
- coordinate the development projects with other Divisions, consultants and joint-venture partners;
- provide professional advice on property development projects, valuation and tenancy matters to user Divisions;
- handle land administration work, e.g. land grant and short term tenancy related issues; and
- perform any ad-hoc duties/tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- a recognized degree in Surveying/Real Estate or equivalent;
- (a) Corporate Member in the General Practice Division of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors; or
(b) Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Valuation), or equivalent; - at least 5 years of post-graduation relevant working experience of which 2 years of post-qualification experience in the field of Valuation/General Practice/Asset Management/Estate Agency/Property Development and at least 2 years of supervisory experience;
- technical competence with good negotiation skill and strong property market sense;
- good communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- flexible, energetic, passionate and self-driven personality; and
- willingness to work under pressure.

Compensation & employment terms:
The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
