The position is responsible for underwriting assessment, provide service and support to sales team / customer enquiries related to underwriting and handling various underwriting duties or projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform underwriting assessment for individual life new application within the company’s KPI and approval limit. Comply with the Company’s guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements and meet the agreed service level.
- Handle enquiry from representatives of sales channels and internal staff. Assist to uplift the team’s performance to meet or exceed customer’s expectations
- Understand the underwriting process in depth and recommend any improvement areas.
- Provide administrative support to the Department including report preparation. Continuously meet the agreed service level with quality output.
- Participate in testing and ad-hoc underwriting tasks or projects as assigned by the Manager. Complete in accordance with schedule and requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Degree / diploma holder
- Strong analytical and problem solving and self-motivated
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment to meet agreed timelines;
- Good command of both written and spoken in English and Chinese;
- Effective Team player;
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
