Job Description

Introduction:

At KPMG China, we are committed to making ESG (environmental, social and governance) a watermark running through our organisation, from empowering our people to become agents of positive change to providing better solutions and services to our clients.

To lead by example, we launched Our Impact Plan (OIP) which includes our ESG commitments and progress across four key pillars – Governance, People, Planet and Prosperity. We are looking for a high-caliber PMO candidate to help drive the strategic development and implementation of the OIP at KPMG China, so that we can create a positive impact on our stakeholders, environment and society.

Roles and responsibilities:

•      Lead the strategic planning and implementation of OIP strategies and initiatives to fulfill KPMG China’s OIP commitments as a key project manager and main contact person

•      Drive the OIP impact by measuring and monitoring the key progress of OIP pillar work against our annual plan, KPIs and timeline, collaborating closely with the four OIP pillar leads and other department representatives and stakeholders. Focus on one of the pillar – “plant” to support the head of OIP to achieve our global climate goal.

•      Support the Head of OIP with regular meetings and communication of our impact to different internal stakeholders, e.g. organise monthly pillar lead meetings, provide quarterly update to global team, and more importantly provide regular update to Executive Committee to ensure proper oversight of OIP at the leadership level

•      Lead the production of our annual ESG report, Our Impact Plan, to enhance the reporting quality and transparency, including conducting stakeholder engagement exercises, steering materiality assessment/review, referencing the latest reporting standards and requirements, etc

•      Optimise internal and external exposure of OIP key initiatives by leading the production of both internal and external promotional materials (e.g. internal announcement, newsletter, video, key visuals, social media posts) in collaboration with Corporate Affairs (media), Internal communications (IC) and Marketing (MKT) teams, with an aim to elevate strong and consistent brand image of OIP

•      Liaise with the global OIP team as KPMG China’s OIP representative, contribute and exchange views on OIP matters at global or ASPAC meetings, explore and forge any key collaborative opportunities

•      Support the Head of OIP on annual business planning and budgeting, and other key tasks when necessary

•      Oversee the quality of work prepared by the OIP team, e.g. research on OIP-related benchmarking and competitive analysis, ESG supplier questionnaires requested by engagement teams, RFP deck on OIP, etc

Requirements
