Job Description

We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Education Counsellors, specializing in UK study opportunities.

Key responsibilities: 

• Professional Counselling: Provide expert guidance to students and parents who aspire to study in the UK. Understand their needs, aspirations, and preferences, and offer personalized advice to help them make informed decisions.
• Lead Follow-up: Proactively follow up on leads and inquiries related to students considering studying abroad. Nurture relationships and provide timely information to prospective students.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to participate in education exhibitions, school visits, seminars, and other promotional activities. Represent IDP as an advocate for overseas education.
• Relationship Building: Establish strong rapport with parents and students by delivering relevant information and professional advice. Be a trusted advisor throughout their study abroad journey.
• Institutions Ambassador: Act as a bridge between students and institutions. Offer comprehensive services, including course recommendations, application assistance, other services IDP provides.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably with exposure to UK Boarding Schools through study or work experience).
• Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for helping students achieve their academic goals.
• Thrive in a dynamic environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Strive for excellence and focus on achieving positive outcomes for students.
• Articulate and empathetic communication style to connect with diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle student inquiries efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure high-quality work by paying attention to details.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
