Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) was founded in 2001 as a strategic partner of the HKSAR Government in establishing Hong Kong as centre of design excellence in Asia. The Roles:

1. Provide support in the planning and development of HKDC's annual flagship programmes: Business of Design Week (BODW), and Knowledge of Design Week (KODW). Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive research on the latest knowledge and current trends in design, branding, and innovation;
• Identifying and inviting esteemed speakers, both domestically and internationally, ensuring their alignment with programme themes and objectives;
• Coordinating the logistical arrangements for speakers and VIPs during the summit;
• Maintaining effective communication and fostering strong relationships with speakers, key stakeholders, and partners;
• Providing administrative support and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the process;

 2. Contribute to the content development of bodw+, the digital design knowledge platform under BODW and KODW. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the formulation of content strategies and overseeing the production of high-quality contents that align with the goals and target audience of bodw+;
• Collaborating with content providers and partners, to ensure seamless content delivery;

 3. Attend industry events to establish meaningful connections and expand professional networks; &

 4. Execute ad hoc duties, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements:

1. University graduate;
2. 2 years of work experience. Relevant work experience in project management and coordination, experiences in marketing and content agencies will be an advantage. Candidates with less than two years experiences will be considered as Project Associate;
3. Fluency in written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) are essential;
4. Proficiency in MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, English & Chinese Word Processing;
5. Detail-oriented, responsible and organized;
6. Strong problem-solving skills and multi-tasking;
7. Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure; &
8. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
