Office Operations Officer (Account Opening) – Asset Management

Our client is a reputable asset management company based in Hong Kong with a significant presence and a long-standing legacy. With offices spanning across multiple countries worldwide and their business continue to grow steadily, they are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join their team as an Office Operations Support, responsible for managing their day-to-day operations efficiently.

Job description:

• This role supports the administrative functions of the office, including reception duties and logistical arrangements
• Handling administrative tasks like reception, procurement, and record-keeping for various business activities such as compliance, banking, HR, etc.
• Processing account opening documentation at banks and brokerages, including AML and corporate requirements
• Assisting executives with travel arrangements as needed
• Liaising with external service providers and suppliers to support staff

Preferred qualifications/attributes:

• A degree, with accounting knowledge preferred but not required
• Experience with AML and company secretarial documents
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with database skills an advantage
• Strong technological aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software
• Proactive, independent, and able to work well under pressure as part of a small team
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese
