What you’ll do
As Market Access Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives.
Your job responsibilities will be leading a team to, but not limited to:
- Develop and implement comprehensive market access strategy for key products
- Contribute as required to complete and proper understanding of local Payer, Reimbursement and Market Access needs
- Understand and address the needs of Payers and budget-Holders, with compelling and customised value propositions, including economic and clinical arguments to secure access and funding for drugs
- Establishes and maintains strong professional network with local Government authorities, Healthcare providers, Health Economic organizations and other relevant decision making key stakeholder to anticipate and influence legislative Pricing and reimbursement trends
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and deliver health economic tools to appropriately influence government funding allocation, decision making and guideline development within HK healthcare system
- Drive market & patient access agenda and shape policy environment by closely collaborate with both external partners like patient advocate group, NGO; internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales, Medical, Compliance, Legal, PR
- Align with Marketing & Medical on Patient Access Program strategy including scheme design, PR plan and risk sharing program
- Develop and drive effective patient access initiatives including Patient Assistance program, SFI program & patient advocacy initiatives to maximize patient access
- Identify and communicate the market trends and relevant change of pharmaceutical industries and related healthcare policies, and identify market access related opportunities and risks.
Essential for the role
- Bachelor degree in health economics/life science related discipline
- At least five year working experience in pharmaceutical industry, with 2 year in market access area
- Thorough knowledge and experience in Hong Kong pharmaceutical full cycle reimbursement process including strategy development, submission preparation, financial modelling, and pricing/ financial agreement negotiation
- Ability to interact and influence a range of stakeholders both internally and externally
- Knowledge of government affairs relevant to pharmaceutical industry
- Strong analytical and Project management skill
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
Desirable for the role
- Master in Healthcare, Pharmacy or MBA
- With experiences in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR)
- Proficiency in Mandarin
