South China Group is a conglomerate (comprised of 2 listed companies in Hong Kong), having a wide range of businesses, including property development and investment, trading and manufacturing, agriculture and forestry, financial services, information technology and media publishing.   

To cope with our rapid business development, we are looking for a strong caliber to fill this position:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for financial reporting, planning, forecast, cost control, budgeting of different business units in the Group including HK and PRC.
• Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and reports consolidation, reporting accurate financial results to the company
• Support the Management in implementing strategic business plans, financial and tax strategies, capital requests and budgeting processes, cash balances and cash forecasts, fund investment and performance measures to support the strategic direction
• Oversee the accounting, investor relations, tax and treasury departments
• Maintain effective and good relationship with bankers, auditors and investors
• Identify different business opportunities and potential risks based on various insightful financial analysis to stimulate the financial and operational performance of a listed company

Requirements:

• MBA is a definitely an asset
• Qualified Accountant with HKICPA or ACCA certification is a plus
• At least 7 years in the position of senior management in listed companies especially in real estate sector, PRC property leasing, manufacturing and or agriculture sectors is a plus.
• Strong PRC exposure, knowledgeable with accounting standards and taxation rules and business environment in the PRC.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, particularly Mandarin
• Frequent travel and relocation among different cities in the PRC
• Strong business acumen
